As a senior, Fussell made 10 appearances including eight starts with one complete game, tossing 43.1 innings with 46 strikeouts against 12 walks with a 4.57 ERA and a 1-4 record. He limited opponents to a .219 batting average against last year with just 10 of the 35 hits allowed going for extra bases ... Had Tommy John surgery in 2012;
Summer League: During the summer of 2013, was a Southern Collegiate Baseball League (SCBL) All-Star after leading the league in strikeouts (55 in 33.0 innings) with a 3-1 record and 1.09 earned run average for the Morganton Aggies ... Went to the Coastal Plain League with the Wilson Tobs where he was 1-2 with a 2.70 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 13.1 innings.
